Description

Monoplastic 2029 represents an evolution in Zach Touchon's exploration of line, structure, and spatial relationships. Introducing a heavier continuous line and subtle shadowing effects, the composition creates an illusion of depth and dimension within an otherwise flat geometric surface.

Bold black forms contrast with warm ivory, while intersecting white pathways establish a complex architectural rhythm. The interplay of overlapping lines and subtle tonal variations challenges the viewer's perception of foreground and background, allowing the composition to shift between two-dimensional abstraction and implied three-dimensional space.

Part of Touchon's original Monoplasticism series, this work expands the visual possibilities of a single continuous line, balancing geometric precision with the intuitive spirit of abstract expressionism.
